"Why is it so cheap?" — Fair question. Here's the full answer
Our classes cost €50–60 a month because they're
taught by international trainee teachers who need real classroom experience to earn
their Trinity CertTESOL qualification. Expert tutors supervise and assess the
classes. You pay less; they qualify. Nobody loses.
The teaching-hospital principle
It's the same model as a university teaching hospital: you're seen by residents supervised by senior specialists — excellent care, lower cost, and everyone knows exactly how it works. TEFL Iberia has trained English teachers in Barcelona for years; the Trinity CertTESOL requires every trainee to teach real, assessed lessons to real students. That's you.
What you get for your money
- Meticulously planned lessons. Teams of 3–4 teachers prepare each class against a fixed curriculum — their tutors grade them on it.
- Constant professional supervision. An expert tutor sits in on most classes. How many academies have a quality inspector in the room?
- International native-speaker teachers, new cohort every month: fresh accents, fresh energy.
- Groups of max 10 — everyone speaks in every class.
- Free one-to-one classes. Every trainee must teach private lessons as part of the course. Just ask.
The big print (not the small print)
- Teachers change monthly when their training cycle ends. The curriculum gives continuity; the rotation gives variety. Most students love it.
- They are trainees. Well-prepared and supervised — but learning. Some classes will be brilliant, some just fine. That's why it's €60 and not €145.
- No official exam prep, no certificates. This is English for your real life, not for a diploma.
